Inspired by the historical upheavals of the Mfecane, this game moves beyond simple combat to focus on the preservation of a way of life. As a leader of the Nguni people, you must navigate the chaos of shifting territories and rising tribal powers. Your mission is clear: protect the Royal Hut—the heart of your community—at all costs.

• Tactical Defense: Build your village (Kraal) strategically. Use narrow passes and defensive structures to funnel invading raiding parties.
• Dynamic Tribe System: No two playthroughs are the same. Face independent raids from various historical tribes, each with their own group sizes and aggressive tactics.
• Cultural Preservation: Experience a game dedicated to the promotion of Southen african heritage, featuring traditional architecture and unit roles.

The Challenge:

The wilderness is restless. Multiple raiding tribes are on the move, and they aren't coming all at once. You must manage your resources to build a Barracks, train your defenders, and stay alert for the Raid Notifications. When the war horns sound, will you be ready to defend the kraal?

Developer’s Note

This project was developed for Lagos Game Game week Jam with a focus on blending authentic Southern African history with modern 3D game mechanics. It is an exploration of the strategies used during the Mfecane and a tribute to the resilience of Tswana culture.
